2. Non-EU Applicants: Those outside the EU must obtain a work permit through the local Republic of Croatia diplomatic mission.

3. Permit Validity: Most Croatia work and residence permits are valid for a minimum of 12 months or 2 years.

4. Permit Extension: Croatia allows applicants to extend their work permit at least 60 days before it expires, enabling them to continue working in the country.

5. Multiple Extensions: The work permit can be further extended for 2 years at each extension.

6. Permanent Residency Eligibility: After residing and working in Croatia for 5 years, the applicant becomes eligible for Permanent Residency in Croatia.

• Experience Level : Must have at least 1-2 year’s experience
• Passport: Must be valid for at least 2-3 years
• English language: Must be able to read, write & speak good English
• Police Clearance: Must be able to provide legalized police Clearance

Police Clearance
Croatian Labour & Police Departments introduced police clearance as a new requirement for work permit approval.

Based on the candidates current residence, valid Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) must be provided. Croatian Embassies are in charge of police clearance attestation.

Processing-time: The process for issuing visa takes between 2 and 4 weeks.
